We called the current series of The Mindshare Podcast Removing The Roadblocks. What does that really mean? Well… Do you ever stop and wonder WHY you just sabotaged yourself and HOW you can avoid that in the future? Do you feel like something is getting in your way, over and over? Maybe you don’t realize it came from you and you just blame it on external roadblocks - other people, unexpected surprises, the system, society, money, or something else. Those are legitimate roadblocks, but we also all have some internal roadblocks and it’s worth exploring that, and WHAT exactly gets in your way?
If this resonates, or even if it’s a new idea for you, stick with me here. Think about how this might have played out in your past and think about how great it would be to get a grasp on what might be blocking you today.
The idea of internal roadblocks can be a relief. Why? Because we can remove them ourselves. It just takes insights and some work. Let’s start with insights and stories as a first step.
This is why I created Series 3. I produce The Mindshare Podcast as an essential part of our learning resources for you. I met and recorded conversations with 15 remarkable people, who share tools to get over what get’s in the way of achieving their goals - they share to help YOU recognize similar opportunities and roadblocks you can get around... To get you further toward where you want to be and to thrive.
In the series, we talk about: mindset, creating partnerships, relationship and communication management, knowing how to create space for yourself, how to tap joy, and finding concrete ways to create significant change in your life, whether a career re-birth or getting into a place where you don’t feel overwhelmed by all you want to do in your personal and professional lives.
I first met with April Rinnie - author of Flux: 8 Superpowers for Thriving in Constant Change, with Helen Lin, a social impact investor - so many people want to help improve the world and it’s never too late to find a way to do so. I met the founding partners of The Garden Journey, Joanne Yun and Natalie Soud who thrive in a partnership. I spoke to Ripa Rashid who is a leader in DEI and she shares ways to be true to your authentic self at work. We hear from Kim Scott, author of the best-selling book Radical Candor (a must-read), and Liana Fricker, founder of Inspiration Space and so inspirational to listen to. I spoke with Stacey Mayer who gives concrete tips on getting promoted at work.
I got to share a conversation with my dear friends Emily Berheide on the Power of Joy and how to find it in difficult day-to-day responsibilities, and Jen Buice on changing careers in mid-life, and creating a career re-birth.
We brought the trio of authors of “Rebalance to Thrive” Lisa Neuberger Fernandez, Monica Brand Engel, and Wendy Teleki, three super ambitious and successful women who share tips on living the myth of “Having It All.” And finally, I share a conversation I had with our meditation coach, Tarika Lovegarden because we think everybody should be meditating for their wellbeing!
I encourage you to go back and listen to each and every one of these podcast episodes. And end each day with the 15-minute guided meditation we gifted in there as well.
It is such a pleasure to produce and host The Mindshare Podcast. I do hope you will listen, share and let me know what you think.
🧡Liana
