☎️Hello from the other side
Did you know that we created The Mindshare Podcast in order to capture and share great conversations and stories from real people who inspire, inform and connect you to our learning community? Everyone and their granny has a podcast, you say? Well, yes, but I just love hearing people’s stories and offering them up in a relatable way to best serve you ~ and anyone looking for a boost to grow and thrive in all that they do.
And you know the question I love to ask my guests the most? “What would you tell your younger self?” It’s like picking up the phone and hearing Adele singing “Hello from the other side…” Right? It’s an opportunity to learn from your future self and so many accomplished and remarkable others who have some golden nuggets to share from their hard-earned wisdom. And really, ALL of the answers to this question are applicable in some way to help you better your now. Or hey, to share as a gift to a 20 or 30-something year old friend living in such a pivotal time in life!
OK, whether you agree with me or not, stay with me here. The Mindshare Podcast is now in Season 3, and you just have to listen for yourself if you aren’t convinced that this is a tool that can help you. And to find out the answers that specifically resonate with Michele and me (and to who said “I probably wouldn’t have listened to my 26 year old self, but I wish I knew then …”) 🎙Listen to this round-up of the top 10 answers from over 20 guests on “What would you tell your 26-year old, or younger self?”
So, what it all about? Our journey started with the realization that the pandemic wasn’t ending anytime soon and we had more to offer those in need (um, all of us). In Season 1, our goal was to help you cultivate a sense of well-being to thrive during such difficult times. I believe it’s all personal and we need to start with ourselves. In Season 2, we heard professional success stories across a range of industries to provide tools and inspiration as everyone questioned their work-life - from those early in their career or those who are looking to create change and have real impact. And today, we are in the midst of season 3, Removing The Roadblocks, because we all have stuff that gets in our way and we need the keys to access the tools to remove them. I spoke to an array of my contacts ~ from winemaker and lifestyle influencer Joey Wolffer to television journalist Stephanie Ruhle to widely published purpose and change guru University of Michigan Professor Robert E. Quinn (!) to my bestie Dena Vigilis who lives and breathes yoga and wellbeing, the podcast has something for everyone!
I felt compelled to make the gift of my own network accessible to all. I am proud to have created and cultivated an amazing network of friends and contacts gathered from ~25 years of my professional and social impact work. Wait! I mean that I have created over the past 40+ years because you get to hear from some of my childhood besties! I don’t want to bore you with my personal bio here, because you can always take a peek at it on our website to see why I believe I have a thing or two to share with you. And while you are there, get inspired by Michele’s background and coaching credentials as well.

OK, I am thrilled you read your letter to the end. I hope you can find inspiration and tools in this and in our library of conversations to help you get to the other side.
And let me know if you think Adele was talking to herself and not a former lover? I do.
