✨Gratitude. 'Tis the season
Thanksgiving reminds people to practice gratitude. And we should practice it every day to enhance our wellbeing.
Gratitude - Why it matters
Gratitude is one of the 12 behaviors studies have shown to enhance wellbeing and a sense of happiness, which leads to many benefits - including a greater sense of confidence and resilience.
According to Jennifer Wallace, author of Never Enough: When achievement culture becomes toxic and what we can do about it “Gratitude isn’t something kids will learn in one conversation or over a single holiday. It’s a practice that needs to be woven into their daily lives. By helping young people cultivate a habit of gratitude, you’re giving them a gift beyond Thanksgiving—a tool for resilience, connection, and lifelong joy.
We could not agree more, and in fact, gratitude isn’t about knowing. It’s about feeling and experiencing this feeling regularly which increases happiness and satisfaction.
Gratitude also counters materialism - which we are especially swamped with during these weeks leading up to the holidays!
Wouldn’t it be great to cultivate healthy habits in ourselves and our loved ones to improve our lives?
Yes, it would. We have created a tool to create habits of specific positive behaviors in our everyday lives through easy and fun activities for those of you who are interested. And we include material from the experts. Insights and tools you won’t want to miss.
In today's sister-publication, the Constructing Confidence newsletter, we not only talk about what gratitude is, but we also share specific activities to help make it a habit. Check it out! You can read the letter HERE and if you subscribe you can access tomorrow’s full post on Gratitude, and more.

P.S. Still not clear on what The Positivity Toolbox is? Keep reading.
What is The Positivity Toolbox exactly?
The Positivity Toolbox is a transformative program designed to boost confidence and resilience in parents, educators, and kids. One of the most important building blocks to reach a strong sense of confidence and resilience is embracing positivity! So, we dug into the research of positive psychologists and researchers and built our first program as a co-learning experience. The program is based on science and the evidence-based research of Dr. Lyubomirsky, who defined the 12 behaviors proven to boost positivity. We built a program filled with exercises and discussion starters for parents, educators, and kids, that will help them to build some key attributes for success in life.
